Hocus Pocus Sign DIY

Note: The Hocus Pocus sign from Dollar Tree can also be turned into a tabletop decor sign by hot gluing a black spray painted wood haunted house onto it. A plastic planter from Dollar Tree can be spray painted black to act as a cauldron. A foam skull from Dollar Tree can be hot glued to the bottom of the planter and witch legs can be added to it for a spooky effect.
Cauldron Planter DIY
To create a spooky cauldron planter, one will need a plastic planter, a foam skull, witch legs, a black pool noodle, two bamboo sticks, and black spray paint. Optional materials include tissue paper, newspaper, or plastic bags to fill the cauldron, and a black gauze blanket.
Begin by spray painting the plastic planter and foam skull black. The foam skull will be hot glued to the bottom of the planter, so it will not be visible in the final product. The witch legs will be attached to the pool noodle, which will be inserted into the cauldron. To do this, trim the pool noodle to the appropriate length, insert the bamboo sticks into the pool noodle, and hot glue the sticks to the shoes of the witch legs.
Once the legs are attached, place tissue paper, newspaper, or plastic bags into the cauldron to fill it up. Then, insert the bamboo sticks into the foam skull, making sure they stick out a bit on the bottom. Finally, place the legs and pool noodle into the cauldron, covering up the tissue paper with a black gauze blanket. The finished product is a spooky cauldron planter perfect for Halloween decoration. Optional additions include faux spiderwebs or plastic spiders.
