Mason Jar Craft

Preparation

To start this Dollar Tree DIY Mason Jar craft, the first step is to prepare the jar. The surface needs to be sanded down a bit to remove any glitter and make it easier for the adhesive to stick. Then, the top portion of the jar needs to be covered with masking tape to protect it from the adhesive spray.

Application of Faux Leather

Next, the navy blue faux leather is cut to size and placed on the adhesive-sprayed surface of the jar. It’s important to make sure there are no bubbles and that the faux leather is flat. After removing the masking tape, the excess faux leather is carefully removed using a sharp exacto knife.

Leaf and Floral Details

The leaf that was removed earlier is then sprayed with adhesive and covered in gold leaves to add texture. The leaf is then hot glued onto the jar at an angle. Yellow picks and a sunflower are added to the sides of the leaf to bring everything together. This easy DIY craft is a great way to update a plain mason jar and add some fall decor to your home. Overall, this Dollar Tree DIY Mason Jar craft is simple and affordable, making it a great option for anyone looking to add some personalized decor to their home. With just a few supplies from Dollar Tree, anyone can create a unique and beautiful piece to add to their collection.

Wreath Craft

Burlap Wrap

To start the wreath craft, Lianep takes a six-inch wired wreath form from Dollar Tree and some burlap fabric. The burlap fabric is folded in half and hot glued together to wrap around the wreath form. She recommends using any neutral tone fabric that is available. The burlap fabric is wrapped around the wreath form until it is completely covered. The excess ribbon is cleaned off, and a gorgeous pig from Dollar Tree is folded around one side of the wreath form. The pig is tied in place with jute string, and the foliage is added to give a nice curved look.

Foliage and Flower Addition

Lianep adds some leafy Fall Foliage from Dollar Tree to the wreath. The yellow picks are cut into small pieces and hot glued in between the foliage. She hides the part where all the stamps are by adding an orangey sunflower right on top of it.

She also adds some red tone by including some red pigs from Dollar Tree. The wreath is packed with beautiful fall florals, and a medium-sized sunflower is added to the front and the right side. The faux leather is used to make some napkin rings, and she adds buttons from Dollar Tree to decorate them.

Trellis Craft

Leather and Rope Application

To create a beautiful trellis craft, the first step is to cut off one of the middle sections of a six-inch wired reform from Dollar Tree. Then, cut a piece of brown tone faux leather to wrap around the bottom portion of the trellis. Use hot glue to secure the leather in place, making sure that the bottom seam is clean cut.

Next, take some nautical rope, preferably the natural jute tone from Dollar Tree, and hot glue it around an inch and a half from the top of the faux leather. Work your way up the trellis, wrapping the rope around it until you reach the top. If the trellis is too long, cut off the excess after wrapping the rope. To add a pop of lighter tone, add a ribbon to the center of the trellis. Use hot glue to secure it in place. To hang the basket, add a tiny bit of nautical rope in the back, loop it, and hot glue it in place.

Floral Foam and Flower Insertion

After completing the leather and rope application, add floral foam to the basket. Cut a few thin strips of foam using a floral foam cutter, and start placing them inside the basket. Push them in and pack them tightly. This will provide a base for the fall florals that will be added later. Once the foam is in place, add fall florals to the basket. Start with a base of yellow picks, cutting three of them and placing them evenly and separated.

Add more florals from Dollar Tree, such as sunflowers and red-tone picks, to create fullness and a pop of color. The trellis craft is an easy and affordable way to add a touch of seasonal decor to your home. With the right materials and a little creativity, it is possible to create a beautiful and unique trellis basket that will impress your guests.

Napkin Ring Craft

Faux Leather Cutting

To start making these beautiful faux leather napkin rings, the first thing you need to do is cut the faux leather. In the video, Lianep uses white faux leather, but you can use any color you prefer.

She cuts a 13-inch long piece of faux leather and folds it in half. Then, she uses that mark to fold it in half again, creating two equal-sized pieces. After folding the faux leather, she sprays adhesive on one side and places the other piece on top. Then, she cuts 2-inch strips using a ruler and roller cutter, but you can use scissors if you prefer. She recommends cutting as many strips as you want to make napkin rings.

Ring Formation

Once you have your strips, it’s time to make the actual napkin rings. Take each strip and fold it in half, then hot glue each end together. Repeat this process for each strip until you have as many napkin rings as you want. To decorate the napkin rings, she uses four buttons from Dollar Tree. She glues them onto the faux leather strips to add a nice touch of style.

However, you can use any embellishments you prefer, such as beads or ribbons. Overall, making these faux leather napkin rings is a simple and easy craft that can add a touch of elegance to any table setting. With just a few materials from Dollar Tree, you can create beautiful napkin rings that will impress your guests.
